In first of its kind effort Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) and Microsoft India has joined hands to deal against piracy. GNLU will have their own IPR department funded by Microsoft India. The department consists of a Professor and an Assistant Professor and will act as a central point for research and framing of policy in IPR.
There have been lot of campaigns against piracy but lack of awareness has majorly affected the small and medium firms. This initiative by Microsoft will definitely lessen the gap between Educational Institute and Industry
Brands and Fakes has aligned the capabilities of the service delivery eco system with the industry verticals, so that the Brands under various industry verticals and sub verticals are able to get services from expertise in their specific domains.
